ask anyone any question

I can be a smooth operator when needed.
if you have a clean record in general and you are polite friendly and just ask for leniency, you will get it unless the cop is a real hardass.

love marriage arranged by us. I have posted details about it on GS, essentially my family knew it was a love marriage, her did not except for an aunt who was helping us, her parents received the interest and proposal via

I am an old fogie who has been here forever, and dont mistake my notoriety for popularity.
I think since I started the thread, people are asking me questions.

My idea was that ppl can ask getting toknow questions as well as questions about ppls interests, expertise, whatever u know..Like I see Gina in fashion forum with all this info on cosmettics, so I want to ask, how did she build all that knowledhe when and how did it start.

To me it just makes people know each other better and that is what makes a good online community.

Re: ask anyone any question

njgal, why is your title appa jaan?
are u called appa jaan by siblings or cousins in real life?

BLindhope where are you from?

Re: ask anyone any question

@redvelvet
How do you manage to write such long replies?

Not all my replies are long. Sometimes they are short depending on the topic of conversation. It's not hard for me because I'm fast at typing.

But i am not fast at reading, i so wanna read some of them but i cant coz of the length :-(

But good job nevertheless

My intention is not to sound arrogant....but I teach reading. That's what my degree is in. And it's a well known fact that most people tend to skim when they read (even when they're reading a novel). So, simply skim. You don't have to read things word for word. :)

Maybe that is the issue coz i tend to read every word, will work on what you said.

And so that basically means no chance of reduction in the length of your replies? :-D

Einstein,

Not all my posts are long. "Long" is a subjective word. Sometimes my responses are a paragraph long...sometimes longer. It depends on the topic of the thread. I like to address issues from multiple angles. And I base my responses on my own sense of thoroughness...and this can cause variations in length.

redvelvet,
OK

lol....sorry....i know I can get detailed in responses.

Exactly my point :-)

I am the eldest on both sides in my family. (of this generation)

My two siblings usually call me a more contemporary version of "appa" which is "aaps"

"hey aaps" or "yo aaps"

The rest of the my cousins call me by all different nick names with "appi" attached at the end.
