I really can't compare if Gul Ahmed or Jofa is better. They are at the top end, and in general, are both excellent. I have a personal preference for GA just because of their wide selection.

hmmm thank you.... we have to order from canada... and really cant decide which is better..... out of all which came out. .... i think there should be a poll here... strictly who have seen and felt the material. otherwise buying blindly is too risky....

Stick with Gul Ahmed. I love the "Cotton Silk" lawn, as it is super soft, but all of their material is great. Avoid any of the "silk" and some of the "regalia" collections, as they must ALWAYS be dry cleaned.
I have suits from various companies: GA, LSM, Jofa, Al Karam, etc. I find that GA has the best value for the money. They produce in such volume that their prices are slightly lower than the other top companies for comparable suits.
Be sure that you zoom in on the photos to see the fabric details, and know that you are buying the fabric only, not the trims that they add in the dress designs.
If you order from Gul Ahmed directly, call them first to confirm availability and that it will ship the same day. Call them back to get your tracking number.
Shipping fees are quite high, so see if you can order all together with a group of friends. If you order only 2 or 3 suits, the shipping will be about $15 per suit, but if you order about 10, the fees would be less per suit.
Also confirm if you would have to pay customs fees on the suits.

i saw a jofa suit yesterday and have to say the quality of dupatta is not that great. its a very synthetic material. given the price they are charging, it should have been a better quality.
i saw this suit in green color.
