Bad luck for Pakistan, did even send our main players because when I was watching the news, I didn't hear the names of Sohail Abbas, Shebaz Ahmed, Saqlain, who are the main front line players for Pakistan, did we just send a second string team.
At current position, I would rank Pakistan as 4th best in the world after Germany, Netherland, Australia.
Second string team for the ASIAN GAMES - Are you keeping your first string players for LAALUKHET CHAMPIONSHIP.

I wouldn't be surprised if we did sent a 2nd string team. These small tournaments are no importance to our Pakistani team. We like to compete with world class teams like Australia, Netherlands, Germany. These kind of tournaments are more like self motivational tournaments for 2nd class teams like India and Korea, so if they win here, they might get to perform better against World Class teams.
Never mind, Pakistan did send its star players.

Nah! I am more amused at the way you trashed the whole Asian Games and relegated it to some sort of B-grade tournament.
We lost. Fair and square. No shame in that. It just means we have to play better next time.
Just because we lost, doesn't mean Asian Games are any less prestigous now than they were before. Any world class team should perform at all levels. If they can't win regional championships, that doesn't speak very highly when they go and compete with other high quality teams from across the globe.
It looks like our hockey team is going through the same bad patch as our cricket team.
Such talented guys but such dissappointing performances.
I could have expected Pakistan loosing to India or Korea but not Malysiya :(
The score line of 4-3 suggests that the final must have been closely fought. Too bad India lost. The Koreans rely heavily on speed, one department India is not very strong in. But I still felt the Indians had it in them to beat the Koreans..... O well... may be next time...... we will get you Chinkees.......
