Doesn’t matter how far your local mosque is, it’s your local mosque, so just follow what they do. But I think with the exception of a couple of places the majority is starting Sunday this time around.

Yeah moon sighting was the old ways but now that we can actually communicate with Saudi Arabia I think Ramadan start\end date & eid should be universal. It’s weird having it split over 2 days most the time and causes problems.

I think the splitting happened because ISNA was going with the calculated calendar
