I can't speak about the Karachi location as I've never been there. Only the Dubai one. By law, at least in Dubai, they can't sell cheap/fake gold and pass it off as real. None of our jewellery has gone black and my parents know their gold. They wouldn't have gotten it unless it was good quality. Again, perhaps different standards for different locations. Dunno, I was happy with what I got.
