nadia got a better deal(read more money) from geo so she left ary. .. it was unethical coz she broke her contract and signed up with a rival channel. geo has more viewership than ary(especially in pakistan and the US) so nadia did what was good for her career. she 's a shrewd businesswoman I tell you.
not onli she broke the contract, da clever cow used ARYs morning show format for GEO

I think this ARY owner dude just over reacted ! Well now that he has initiated this court action , soon GEO will be on the look out for any little thing to sue him or his channel and the tom and jerry show with continue ! If Geo spread a rumour , they could well have discouraged and negated it in all the media openly and that would have been enough to give Geo a slap in the face. But it seems there is something more cooking in the background or else why such a huge reaction by ARY?
as for Nadia khan, people who think she is a ***** just because she moved chanels, well , it might be worth mentioning that Media is a very small world to be in, with only two channels , it is bound to be noticed all the more when people make the move... dont we all change jobs for better money and prospects? if nothing is wrong with that, then why put a label on them...? shahid masood moved from ARY to Geo ... and there are several more ... they just get noticed coz they are known faces ...
I personally find this haji abdul razak guy very disturbing! so many cases on him all the time and in the business world it is known that he isnt that shareef as he poses to be... but at the same time i also think Geo has learnt its lesson and hope they will always try to check if the news is authentic !
I know this is off topic but I have to say this. I like the shows on both GEO and ARY but ARY needs to get its act together as far as presentation and on-time showing is concerned. I have a long list of complaints. The shows never start on time which means that they are always off-schedule. If its not the dreadful and cheap local restaurant or Falak rice ads, it the news break or the 13 minute sponsored azaan break. About a month ago, the sound and picture were out of sync for a whole 6 weeks during prime time and late night. I have been trying to follow the darn show Gardish in the US with awful luck. They keep skipping episodes or repeat them or show the previous episode during the new slot and the new episode during the late night repeat slot. If you want to record a show that ends at 10:00 pm you better set the timer for 10:30 pm and you might capture the 2-minute ending after the news, azaan break and those cheap ads. Is ARY getting so big because of these 2-bit annoying ads at the expense of the viewers’ sanity ? If not, can they cut down so at least we don’t have to search for the show in between these cheap and extremely annoying local ads ?

Im not judging Nadia Khan on her move to GEO...she simply just a f**k up! sorry guys but some Oprah-wannaB who counts on controversy to get viewership is not talented, nor a good human being. The way she encourages celebs to openly backbite about one another is pathetic.
BTW Jang group is not a big company really, it consists of GEO nd Jang the paper only.

ARY is bigger and better in terms of total companies and asset values. ARY is not just television channels as I stated before. ARY is in to real estate, jewellery, services like (bill paying, currecy exchanges etc.) and so forth. You are correct GEO has slight advantage over ARY in terms of viewership and that anchors go to GEO. I have no idea really why anchors are leaving ARY. Not really interested in the channels side of it.
However as I said the channels part of ARY is different than the CONGLOMERATE ARY.
You can see over here in the figures that entertainment wise, ARY Digital is having slight disadvantage over GEO Entertainment however News wise GEO News has 2% advantage over ARY One.

People change jobs but they do it as per the rules laid down in their contract -the legal way. Plus, when you're employee of a certian compay you're not suppsoed to have any links to their competitors/rivals . It's an unethical thing to do and many companies state it explicitly in their company policies and contracts. But as I said before, nadia is a shrewd businesswoman and did what what was good for her career.she's not the honest type anyway.

ditto! same problem.. we seriously felt like complaining to these ARY people.. they can't get the damn broadcast right!!
