in a casual conversation, sure, but i wouldn’t sit him down and make it seem like a big deal. as i said, it is only your business and your parent’s so unless they’re looking at you like a cash cow- which i’m sure they’re not- i don’t think it is worth an entire discussion. when you have a huge discussion, then you invite other people’s opinions into the conversation, so unless you are willing to consider them and possibly go above your budget to get something real, i wouldn’t set the scene for it.
