Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

Nowadays it's quite common, parents encourage their children to buy their own properties and encourage independence, which is what my parents have done..but we see each other every other day...

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

Buying a property is one thing but a young single female living on her own when her parents live nearby is another. I don't know I personally haven't come across many asian females living on their own except when they move far away from family house.

Can they not live with you? lol. Only kidding! So how long have you been living on your own?

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

Well they only live 10mins away so that's not too far, and i think it's always been quite normal in our families, i think its all to do with trust really...

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

Well it good that you have your family's trust. So doing 3 jobs is that the price of independence? I mean the mortgage must take a fair bit of your income.

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

Well, ive actually got two properties - one i've rented out and one i'm staying out...

My full-time role pays well so the other two roles are like an added bonus...

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

Wow...your an entrepreneur! lol. So lets see, the you are renting out, unless you bought it a while back, most of the income would be covered by a mortgage anyway.

But it is good that you have 3 jobs and have got a couple of properties already it makes things so much more easier for you in the long run. I always say that there are no short cuts in life. The only guarantee way to succeed is by hard work.

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

your right there are no short-cuts in life, to get somewhere you really need to work hard, and i'm glad i had my family's support for that..

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

Its good to have 3 jobs now rather than when you are 55.

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

True - i'm actually going to give up my evening role as i've been doing it for some time and it's now become a bit of a bore....also my 3rd occasional role keeps me well-busy and it's a right earner, so dont really need to work evenings.

i actually gave up d gym bcos of working evenings so i think im gonna hand in my resignation next week and leave by end of March - then im signing up wid d gym again as need to get proper toned for all those weddings n events comin up in summer!

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

Well going to gym may only help if you are overwight otherwise I don't think it would make any noticeable difference.

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

no i dont agree with dat, gym is good for overall general health/well-being and then also for toning - i'm definitly not over-weight but i think i culd do wid a bit of toning to keep myself in good shape...

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

can i pop up now :chai:

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

Well if you are slim already going to gym is not going to make any noticeable difference when you have clothes on (in the short-term at least).

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

I was just thinking where u got up to - long time no see,,,wat u been upto?

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

i was busy with a bit of this and a bit of that :khumar:

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

no i dont agree with that statement either cos if ur wearing a typical desi outfit, like a fishtail lengah or a saree (to a special event/wedding), most likely it will be fitted and if ur not toned up it doesnt look too good, u kno curves always look good in d right places....:)

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

Acha, but u eating that popcorn in my face isnt helpin me much, im beginning to feel peckish…

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

I don't know what clothes you will be wearing I was just making a general comment on the basis of wearing a shirt.

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

lolz... yeah i suppose i can see where ur coming from,,,,but i think u cant beat a toned body (whether male or female) in a good-fitted shirt..

Re: Arshad5 and Kazi report here..

I have a big neck so when I buy shirts they fit around my neck but are a bit loose around the body. I think I need to find a personal tailor.
