Can you do calculus or other advanced math in Urdu? Advanced math is less numbers, and mostly trying to prove your point. I imagine every other word is either in Latin or English.

Hmm. I don't know of any calculus books written in Urdu. But then I haven't been looking for those books.

How many of you are good at doing arithmetic in just Urdu or your mother tongue?
I find my arithmetic skills don't work too well, when I'm using Urdu to add or subtract in my mind. Who am I kidding, I don't even remember my "ginti" properly.
So which language to you prefer to do your arithmetic chores.
Interesting topic. Not good with counting in urdu and solve all arithmetic/geometry/algebra in English (since that's the medium i studied in) I have taught arithmetic and algebra in Urdu once though, and it was quite interesting experience. The terms are quite different from english and had to translate all the terms into English (in my head off course) before discussing it with that friend.
There are no calculus books in Urdu because this subject is taught after Matriculation. And urdu medium for maths is only available till matric.
