argh the sore throat is killin me

OOOOOOOOOOOH, I feel your pain. I remember 2 years ago, I had what I consider the mother of all throat inflammations. It was NASTY. The doctor told me it was Bronchitis. I think I can eloquently put into words what you're feeling. For me, it felt like I had needles lodged in my throat. You know, it actually hurt to swallow........MY OWN FREAKING SPIT!!!!!!!!!! And I could even taste the sour taste of inflammation caused by the white sores in my red throat. YUCKY!!!! Hopefully, your condition isn't as bad as mine. But, MAN I couldn't even sleep!

The doctor prescribed this super gross medicine to numb the throat pain. I forget what it was called, but I will never forget what it looked like. It was a clear round bottle containing this transparent slimy mucous-thick snot-resembling fluid. I think the bottle came with a nozzle and I was supposed to apply it in my mouth.....kinda like the spray you're using. Except the medicine was soooooooo thick, that it took sooo long just to move out. So I applied it to the sores in my mouth using a a q-tip. Thankfully it had a slightly minty taste that somewhat numbed the stinging sensation in my throat. Yeah....don't miss those days at all. Sorry, for the above description. Couldn't resist it.

Drink plenty of fluids. Hope you feel better soon:)
