LOL. I once read in a magazine this bizarre tip about applying henna to that particular area to make it look "rosy" and attractive, I guess. It's funny, cuz the thought of reddish- brown areolas that fade into that yucky orange color that mehndi eventually becomes....is just weird.
But anyhow....
1) Opinions will vary and you're not going to be with "every" guy out there, so don't let it bother you so much. (My intention is not to be disrespectful).
2) If every guy thinks dark areolas are unattractive........what about darker skinned women of African ethnicity, for example?

A lot of desi and black men tend to have darker private parts so dunno what gives them the right to be so judgemental.. If a person does want to lighten darker areas there are creams out there that will do it but it should be their choice and they shouldn't feel pressure to do it for others..

Gosh everyone stop jumpin on her for!!! i agree with the original poster completely. dunno abt dark aerolas cus taz normal if ure brownish in complexion but trust me even fair girls have dark ones and thaz v v embarassing. i m med fair.. u can take my example. my husband hasnt said anythng infact i dun think any husband wud anyway. but i personally HATE HATE HATEEEE big aerolas they r so embarassing and as u become preg and breast feed the aerola becomes bigger and thaz totally unattractive to ME... so imagine wot a man wud feel.. no need to get angry but it is true to an extent. if u feel its unattractive being a woman imagine how it will appear to men

zaeina it DOES matter... dark nipples is ok but big aerola is totally unattractive on girls... plus the bigger the aerola the droppier the bust looks!
