I mentor people that to be happy is a duty one owes to himself. A lot depends on self talk, the same situation that might make you really angry can make you really happy. For a bit I got angry that I have to work so hard, I was up at 5 am today, made breakfast for boys, packed them lunch then cooked butter chicken for the club and spaghetti for tomorrow for children. Then I changed my self talk and now feel ecstatic about the bonding and involvement with my children, rather then focusing on time spent in the kitchen I focus on the love I get in return and the human connection. I don’t mope over doing dishes but revel in the fact that I am able to serve and provide.
