I think I am in some ways. Work is so automated these days, that I don't find myself exercising basic math and language skills much these days. If I need to do some math, I use the calculator. I really don't know why I bothered to bust my behind with calculus courses.

If I need to write, an automated spell check and grammar check does all the work for me...

All I remember from English grammar is independent and dependent clauses. Oh and conjunction junction, what's your function.

nope. i enjoy math now more than ever. back in school and uni days i used to suck in math. now somehow [miracle?] i have started to like math and surprisingly its more easier than we all think.

I was makin mashed potatoes earlier.. it came in 2 pouches, and I was gnna make 1 half pouch, and i was readin the nutrition facts, for every serving (1/2 cup) there were so and so many calories etc.. n it said in each box theres 8 servings.. i was sooo stupid, i cudnt figureout how many calories was in half a pouch but i wasnt concentrating.. such lamba lamba math

I have barely worked, but when I did, I felt I wasnt getting anywhere and wasnt learning much either. I found it boring as ever. Felt I had a lot more potential and so I started graduate school (Mash'Allah). Now its TMI (too much information). smack But I am a lot happier here, despite the hardships.

its not helping us expand our minds...ever since grade one i was told how to use a calculator--rather then my own brain--to tell u the truth i still have difficulties in add/subtract...
