Re: Are you awkward?

I used to be highly awkward, not as much anymore, but still a bit.. I guess it's cause I suffer somewhat a degree of social anxiety.

Re: Are you awkward?

You're only awkward in new situations? That doesn't make you an authentic klutz, boo.

I've had an absent-minded-professor vibe going on since I was a toddler I'm told. Painfully shy and awkward in my teens, but better now. You learn to develop and put on a "competent social face" as you grow older. But yeah, I still readily walk into lamp posts, trees, pillars. Am also verbally awkward and flip words on a regular basis, e.g. "A fresh of breath air." Eccentric is the new hot, yeah?

Think there's a correlation between "awkwardness" and being introverted? Thought for food.

Re: Are you awkward?

oh i love this reply:D and of course there is a correlation! I think I have developed that “competent social face”, thought i was extremely quiet and sorta shy/unsocial in my teens. I thought things would change on their own as soon as i start college, but it takes time :cb: lol, so yea its taken time to actually realize that voicing my self and talking is a good thing. And it’s super tough to make the adjustment :frowning: haha

I can speak really well when I have rehearsed, otherwise I feel like I make no sense, lol.
