Re: Are you a third culture kid?
What am I then?
My parents are Pashtun but they taught me both Pashto and Urdu and growing up in England all my close friends were Punjabis, Persians or Arabs so I feel an affinity to Pashtun, Urdu, English, Punjabi, Persian and Arab cultures and speak all six languages to a certian extent, so what am I? I wouldn't identify myself with all seven cultures at any one time even though I have a soft spot for them all. At times I'm Pashtun, English at others and Paki (Paki being synonomous to imperial Urdu culture) at other times depending on my mood.
