Hmmm.. I'm stubborn in the sense that I consider my feelings/thoughts before anyone elses (apart from parents, mostly).. If I have to do something, it should be because I want to. If I don't want to do something, I won't no matter how many friends/people want me to. So yeah, I guess I am a rebel. But alongside that, I also feel that there are some things that are simply not worth rebelling for. For example, when my mom wanted me to go to a different college, I rebelled because I wanted to go to one that was a little further from home but totally worth it.. now Alhumdulillah, she is happy I chose to go there & obviously, I am as well. But if she simply tells me something like "your not allowed to get your nose pierced", I won't even bother considering it because its just not important at all. So what I'm trying to say is I won't go around rebelling for the sake of rebelling, no.

i definitely am a rebel.
i just dont do what every one else is doing, for me things have to make sense. People who are close to me know I am very different. I just dont believe or do some thing just because some one says so. So I have learned many lessons the hard way. I liked it initially but now I m suffering. Its hard to be a rebel in a heard of sheeps. I m not interested in this life of go school, get a job, get married, have kids and die. So far I have lived my life on the edge but now I m trying to change myself because I dont want my family to suffer because of me. Being the eldest in the family sucks big time. Friends from college call me 'baba Qaud e azam' lol this friend only 2 days ago was telling me that I have a "keera" in me that makes me do thing I m not supposed to do and the other one said the other day " ". . . . ..... hmmm lets not disclose what he said or that would be considered as a show off lol not the show off you were talking abt in your thread but the actual show off, show off lol
yes I m a rebel and I m looking for a cure to fix myself.

I would not call myself a rebel but instead a critical thinker. I might go against that taught to me based on intellectual reasoning. My motivation is not simply to rebel, but to do what makes sense to me.
For instance, there is a thread suggesting that non-Muslims do not go to heaven. To me, it would not make sense that a person who is pious and does good unto others but identifies with a religion outside Islam would be denied heaven. Therefore, even if a religious authority said that such a person would be denied heaven, I would disagree and believe what I believe.
