I think I've come a long long way from just six months ago. But there is so much more i need to do to be a better Muslim. I think it's going to be a never ending struggle to be better because there are so many things we need to watch out for, not just praying and reading the Quran but also how we interact with others, how we are with our family and husbands/wives, raising our children, how we talk to others and what we talk about. No, I don't think I am a good Muslim but inshallah, it's the most important goal in my life and I will try hard to be one day soon.
Am I a good Muslim? Not nearly as good as I wish to be as I do nimaz or read the holy Koran rarely, I am ashamed to say. However, my heart, mind, and soul are pure, I never had nor have bad intentions towards anyone, and try my level best to be a good human being considering factors such as morals, values, and ethics. I also give to the masjid and charity whenever I can. I don’t drink alcohol or eat pork and overall, try my best to refrain from the temptations of daily life in the extremely “tempting” western society I live in. Also, being born and raised in this country and not wearing hijab or covering other body parts (arms or legs as in sleeveless tops or medium-length skirts) may lead some people to misleading assumptions about me (if at all) but I am very much aware of my good inner spirit and that is what counts.

no one can judge each other for not beeing a good muslim, thats only for GOD to judge. But giving someone good advice, is not judging.
