Re: Are we witnessing the End Times?

All the minor signs have been completed, just get ready for the major ones (if we're not already witnessing them, or are just completely oblivious to them)

Re: Are we witnessing the End Times?

As of recent 2012 has been declared the end of time. Master W2 graduates that yr. i think now he can just forget about college and might as well enjoy life.

really it will? i dont think it will happen in our times. well we have to resolve several issues here. is he still in his guesthouse in some remote area of Iraq or will he be born in that time? if he is residing in that cave, will he be an enfeebled 1400+ years old man now or has time stopped for this gentleman?
there are several other issues but i would like to know the answers to these two first.

the history of men has been replete with killing. there were many people killed in the world wars. if it was all about killings, then end times should have been then. the next world war, if it ever happens, will probably kill more partly because the weapons have become better, and partly because the population of the world has increased many times. but that does not mean that the end times will come.
The poor will grow in number. (Amal Al-Din Al-Qazwini, Mufid Al-'ulum Wa-mubid Al-humum)
the poor have always been more in number than the rich. the reason is simple. there are finite resources and a rich person is that who can capture a big share of them. obviously the share for others becomes less. that is just common sense. they will increase in number because the population is growing and, again, the resources are finite. so again even if the percentages of rich/poor remain the same, both numbers will grow.
Gains will be shared out only among the rich, with no benefit to the poor. (Tirmidhi)
when was the last time in the history of men when they tried to share their profits with many people. see from an evolutionary point of view that should happen. because people strive to survive.
The Hour will come when adultery becomes widespread. (Al-Haythami, Kitab al-Fitan)

The Last Hour will not be established until they (wicked people) commit adultery on the roads (public ways). (Ibn Hibban and Bazzar)

Men will imitate women; and women will imitate men. (Allama Jalaluddin Suyuti, Durre-Mansoor)

People will indulge in homosexuality and lesbianism. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Muntakhab Kanzul Ummaal)
remember, adultery was there and will be there until there are males and females in the world. you have to understand that people have had many fantasies since times immemorial to commit sexual acts in different places. that could include roads too. i bet there were many people before the birth of islam who would commit adultery. its just like all other acts. perversions are part of any society.

so far as homosexuality is concerned, that is not an issue either. Greeks were homosexuals. and they were very open about it. you might know that word lesbian is itself created from Lesbos, a greek island. why didnt God strike at that time is a question in itself.
*There will be prevalence of open illegal intercourse. (Bukhari) *
legality of an issue is defined by the prevalent laws. having sex with someone other than your spouse is not considered illegal, but it is in muslim countries. does that mean end times will strike us only? if so, we should immediately make sex out of marital bounds legal. that will surely perplex the angel Israfeel because he wont be able to understand whether to blow the horn or not.
The Hour (Last Day) will not be established until murders will increase. (Bukhari)
this one can be filed with the first comment.

Are we witnessing the end of times? NO... More dire calamities have already befallen this planet so it may take a whole lot more than what you ascribe the so-called "end of times" to.

so quite fretting about End Times.................

Let the Evangelists do their Job............:)

You people are referring to wars which do not fulfill the prophecies. There are specific wars which do fill prophecies.

The fact that people are so sure that the end of times is far away and not near is a failed logic without proof. You can claim that its far away, but you cant use that premise to deny that it COULD be happening.

Its a weak argument.

Cresent Bhai...........I did not say it is far away......

I think the End Time as predicted in the Bible has come and gone......WWII was war to end all wars......

remember the Nueclear Holocast......close to 200,000 Japanese perished all in the short period of one week......:(

Our Prophet (PBUH) talked about Moral decay.......which as we see is happening all around us......The Dajjal and Mehdi (ES) are yet to appear!

Re: Are we witnessing the End Times?

sindsagar

you cant religiosity through logic. that is what they are told:" dont look at too much evidence because that might not be good for us". that is what strong faith means: not to believe anything rational that contradicts dogmas. so if someone said all the universe revolved around the Earth, then it must be. and kill all those who say otherwise. isnt that what they did to Galileo?

Can your logic prove the big bang happened on its own? Laws of thermal energy contradict, and yes-- you can wait for your protons to spin around and around under europe...btw, thats still called "having faith", good luck finding your rationale for that!

So don't give us theories, give us facts about everything, which you obviously cannot! Think, use your brains, open up!

Hundreds of years ago people thought the earth was flat, *just because people do not witness something, it doesn't mean it does not exist! *(voila! years later we had proof and witnessed the circular shape of the earth)

So my friend, if you haven't witnessed something yet, hold tight, faith is a weak word given to another form of logic, which is more stronger, and sound than you would like to think.

The amount of ignorance in this thread is another sign of the end of times, knowledge will be uplifted leaving armchair scholars to make insane claims, possibly to please current societies and ideologies. And yes, go ahead and try to spin this around, you can't because I am quoting traditionalist scholars, who were close to the reviving of this true religion.

As for another claim about wars and tribulations of the past, tell me this? If WW1 or WW2 were to happen exactly the same way today, with the same alliances , except the technology was current, are you telling me less people would have died? Or it would've been long?

With the technology and the resources we have today, it would've been short, You could make it from Boston to Berlin within a day, instead of the insane distances on ships which they traveled. So what claim is this that wars were more hardcore back then? They are more hardcore now, within days and minutes millions can be slaughtered, and this isn't a sign, how?

More people have died within THIS century, than in recorded history. People in Nagasaki still feel the effects of A-Bomb, their generations feel it.

Remember, Just because you haven't witnessed something, doesn't mean its not true. Earth was flat once...Guess what?

:k:

Re: Are we witnessing the End Times?

So much has happened since then.

Re: Are we witnessing the End Times?

No we aren’t witnessing the end time. There have been greater calamities in the past and people have always wondered the same thing each time, and each time the world just moved on.

Re: Are we witnessing the End Times?

All that may have come to pass but I recall one hadith as I understood it where a Sahabi came to Rasul Allah PBUH and asked Oh Rasul Allah if you knew that tomorrow was the End of the World, what action would you take?

Our Holy Prophet PBUH replied I would plant a tree!

so the way I interpret that saying is:

 1. No one knows when this world will end, only Allah knows!

 2. The act of planting a tree means you plan for hundreds of years! no matter what.

Re: Are we witnessing the End Times?

Well this is sufficiently vague enough to apply to ALL times, and every part of history. I mean really, when have gains not gone to the rich and not shared with the poor? Thats why their poor!

Perhaps thats the point. to discourage you from speculating and just being descent human beings because its the right thing to do and not because your afraid of being sent to hell at any given moment.

Re: Are we witnessing the End Times?

I sometimes wonder how far away we are from the emergence of dajjal. But I’ve been told we shouldn’t wonder about this much less make estimations.

Re: Are we witnessing the End Times?

There’s a hadith that there will come a time when humans will be divided in two groups…one group would be of righteousness and other would be of hypocrisy and disbelief…when you see that except the appearance of dajjal any day. (Sorry don’t know the exact words of hadith).

Re: Are we witnessing the End Times?

You think that time is already here?
