3:144. Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) is no more than a Messenger, and indeed (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as disbelievers)? And he who turns back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allâh; and Allâh will give reward to those who are grateful.

This Ayah proves that Holy Prophets of Allah (Peace be upon them) do die and that the Holy Prophet :saw: will abd did very much die…

Plus Prophet (saw)'s janaza Prayers were performed and and he was buried in the ground.

Janaza and burial is only performed on dead people.

Remember the famous words of Hz. Abu Bakr (ra): "Those who worship Muhammad let it be known that Muhammad is dead and those who worship Allah (swt), He lives forever and will never die.

There is also another ayah that each and every soul shall taste death with no exception.

In Alame Barzakh the Prophets (peace be upon them all) and Shaheeds have special status and they receive their sustenance as Allah (saw) promised.

Prophets’ (peace be upon them) bodies are alive. These are matters beyond this worldly life and the conditions of Alame Barazakh are not ‘worldly’.

Having said that, how much debating on such topics will going to add to our good deeds done for the sake of Allah in the guidance of our prophet:saw:?
