I have to agree with this. Im sorry but reading this thread has made me laugh so much. With everything thats going on in the world today its sad to see that there is so much complexity over fairness and darkness.
However i do think its brave of ppl to post their pics on here esp to then b judged by so many ppl.

Jaani, you look like what you are.. From the "Indian subcontinent Asian". And we are all are such a great mixture that we have a variety of looks.. all of them are beautiful.
I hope you got some good pastries from the Italian bakery... and the bakery waali. For a fact I know that in all retail situations, we are trained to form a personal rapport with customers.. a remark like that she made is VERY TEXTBOOK TYPICAL of rapport building. I would take it at face value...lol

I tell u what-reading this thread makes me so relieved that im married to a gora. Its bad enuff women having issues abt their colour but now it seems like men r becoming like that aswell. At least he doesnt have issues abt his colour. But he finds it very hard to understand all of this obsession with being fair.

merc, sorry dude, but you dont look much liek a Kashmiri. Offcourse not all kashmiris have gree/blue eyes and brown hair, but this is how a typical kashmiri would look like.

Merc, dude, I'm sorry but you look like a typical pakistani/indian/bengali, you're not as gora as you think, dude, just embrace your brownness. As far as looking Italian, that's just funny, I sincerely doubt an Italian girl told you that you look Italian.

Maybe a little fatty; but I am also these days heavily into bodybuilding. Trying to run about 10-15 miles a week and do weights about 3-4 days a week.
At 195 pounds and 5ft 11inches... these days I am more built like a wrestler.....and if I can stop drinking beer everyday...I would be more lean.
But the thread is not about my weight but about the "whiteness" of Merc. What I wanted to show him that his skin colour is similar to mine and NO-ONE has called me an Italian yet. But I have been mistaken for a Hispanic many many times and when I don't shave for a week I have been mistaken to be a Pakistani at many Halal meat stores.

One ignorant person in North Carolina asked if I was Native American when I told him I was Indian.
