I think bhoot and churails are souls of the dead people who are cursed to suffer in this world.
Jinnat is a form of life. They live among us and have faiths i.e. Muslim/Hindu and are good and evil same as humans.
I have seen cases of people possessed by jinns. Off course science need to give the justification which it can possibly think; so they diagnose it as psychological disorder. But not everything is black and white, there are far superior things in this world which human brain can’t explain.
If something happened to you I’ll advise try to pray five times a day. Frequently keep reciting the 4 Quls.
There is all sort of harm which can be done to human through magic and other means, but there isn’t such thing in this world which Allah’s qalam can’t fix.
