PG it’s a small get together arranged by a friend or family member for the pregnant lady, usually in the last trimester of her pregnancy. Usually, only women attend. There is food, games and gifts for the baby. It’s actually a small and nice event with no religious flavor. In India, I know they do the same thing but they have “pooja” and some traditional games as well.

Personally, I think we muslims sometimes dissect everything way too much instead of focusing on basic stuff. There’s always some one out there to tell you what is haram.
