Are assumptions always wrong?

u are pardoned.

first of all it is not politically correct
second- I am using my experiences to give examples rather than just throw concepts around
third- the concept applies equally in business, science or personal life
fourth- anyways sorry about you..masoom..sawal
fouth- its laxatives and yes you do need them

I agree, analytic and synthetic take it into a part where majority would have troiuble with teh concept let alone figuring out how to apply it.

and that is the key, acknolweding inconsistencies, limitations and risks.

Indeed, i did not expect an intelelctually stimulating conversation this late.

i do not know what fouth is :halo: but I never found a need to take laxatives so never learned the spelling. Thanks for telling us your experiences :lifey:

you dont want to know the meaning of Fouth from urbandictionary.com .. I just hope that it was a typo on X2’s part and he did not mean it … :rotfl:

Although it goes with Laxative’s use .. hand in hand :hmmm:

Re: Are assumptions always wrong?

TLK: please, do not assume things.

you are assuming that its my experience, not supported by fact
and assuming made an ass out of you and the ming dynasty.

PS: i am glad you dont know what a fouth is

no man it was a typo, not only a typo i also forgot that fifth comes after fourth :halo:

that was purely a deduction .. no assumptions here ..

tax deduction or a taxing deduction?

No sir, I am deducing it from your very own statement :)

^ documented facts prove otherwise. as I never introduced the topic of laxatives in this discussion, therefore you can only deduce it from your own statement, which then counters your counterstatement that you infact have never needed laxatives.

'think' refers to assumption not deduction... unless I would have used the word "believe"

so no thinking is required to deduce something?
okay then..

but regardless your deduction was based off your own assumption since you were the one who introduced the topic of laxatives in the conversation. thus the deduction would be of the assumption you noted, my statement was in support of your assumption that you neeeded a laxative.

Re: Are assumptions always wrong?

Are you assuming that when I said “thanks for telling us your experiences”, I meant about laxatives? :smack:

I was talking about the discussion you and LC were having … please, deduce the correct pointers :hoonh:

Re: Are assumptions always wrong?

oh sorry I did not realize you were done with the whole laxatives thing now.
so time to return the topic back to the discussion on assumptions then? kewl.

Re: Are assumptions always wrong?

Huh? I was talking about myself. It was you who started taking shots at my sentence which was done and over with after my reply of 'not having any of it ever' :)

Re: Are assumptions always wrong?

challo thats good. kewl, so why dont u now go toss all this irrelevent stuff which is otherwise messing up a pretty good thread. lucid and I were really having a good discussion. too bad dushi was not around, this i probably right up her alley.

Re: Are assumptions always wrong?

:) sure carry on!

dushwari, please, come at your convenience.

Re: Are assumptions always wrong?

my alley :> has gone under reconstruction, dear Fraudia bhai, as i am noting, most contractors are bidding unfair tenders at the building contract, so i will be asking all business contractors to re submit their contractual proposals & upon the next post, i will determine who gets the contract of building friendship. that is probably the hardest thing, sometimes to do, for all of us, at point in time.

Re: Are assumptions always wrong?

but since i cant resist participating, it will be synthetic apriori & posteriori that i will take .

what will be the premise & when can others contribute in the inquiry?
