Arachnophobia...

Re: Arachnophobia...

Mamaof3, do they bite, really??? I didnt know it! Oh my God, those are some dangerous things that means?? frightened look

Re: Arachnophobia…

Almost all spiders bite guys and every one has some sort of venom, from the seemingly harmless house spider to the Brown Recluse and the Black Widow…Also depends upon the size of the person being bitten…(According to the site, I am safe, however might become pretty sick if bitten by a Black Widow)…

It’s just that Allah :swt: has made them so icky…Their outlook is so amazingly menacing…It’s a perfect killer and hunter of the insect world and everything about its appearance is like attacking…

It is a beautiful creature in construct though…Too bad my childhood phobia keeps me from appreciating their true beauty…

I remember when I went on the camping trip to Smoky Mountains…They were in full season and when I was walking through the trails, it was like walking on a trail of popcorn…Crunch crunch…I must have stepped on a few million…

shudders

Re: Arachnophobia…

I bet their cousins want revenge

Re: Arachnophobia…

Most surprising thing. I did not know this before. I mean the common house spider looks so innocent. Im so surprised to know it bites. Ooh, now I’d be careful.

Re: Arachnophobia…

The brown recluse is a pretty common spider in the US…

Check out these bites…

Re: Arachnophobia...

spiders are sneaky mean little critters. their food is blood...so yes, they ALL bite. They just do it on the sly, they wait till you're asleep and then they feast and you wake up looking like a freak.

Re: Arachnophobia…

Oouuuuuuuuuuuuuccccchhhhhhhhh

NAHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII… pure disgusting and sick!!!

:yukh::yukh::yukh:

Im sure cockroaches dont bite like that or do they??

Oh my God, Mama stated above that it bit her the other day. Oh no, Mama, how is it now?

Re: Arachnophobia…

TNWB,
Sorry to make this unpalatable, cockroaches do bite. They are omnivores. They eat anything and everything. When you sleep at night, it will come, crawling on its sticky legs, and nibble on your earlobes..yummy. They love the salty residues on your skin. I think i just barfed out my tuna on a roll. hurl

Re: Arachnophobia…

Mama you sadist, what perverse pleasure are you deriving from my anguish…:teary1:

BTW, it’s not the bites that freak me out (I once caught a coyote with just my hands and a chain…I still have the bites to prove it)…

It’s just the spiders themselves for some reason that give me the shivers…Even as I am writing this I am getting cold currents under my skin…

Re: Arachnophobia…

oh Thanks for pointing that out !!! since i will be moving to NY.

Re: Arachnophobia...

Our rat brigade awaits you with bouquets, roshi.

Re: Arachnophobia…

dopey, that was :yukh: but thanks for the info.

Oh I never cared about spiders but my apartment, here and the one I was living in before was fully pest controlled for cockroaches. Those idiots cant dare to come in :snooty:

Re: Arachnophobia...

whats so scary about spiders, we are about a million times bigger than em; just stomp em dead or shove them away if the situation allows (after all a spiders web helped out our Prophet once) - well I love to scare girl cousins with em, its an excellent way to get them lost from my room.

Re: Arachnophobia...

Tran-TULA

Re: Arachnophobia…

I’m scared of big spiders, little once I quickly try to kill by sucking them in the vaccuum cleaner.

Actually nowadays dragon flies scare me more.

When we were little, my Mom used to forbid us to kill spiders, she said we have to tell the spider three times to leave, and if it won’t then we could kill it. She thought otherwise it could be an angel disguised as a spider.
I’ve never heard anybody else say that, I guess it must have been a superstition.

Re: Arachnophobia...

Okay....so my niece tells me that we will "on average" eat 12 spiders over the course of our lifetime during our sleep.

Take that!
