Its a simple case of preying upon the most vulnerable. Indians are getting attacked because they live in crime-infested areas (=low rent) and work late nights (illegally of course) and drive taxis (again illegally) and come back home at a time when criminals and drunks are at their peak. And do you think these criminals (whites or blacks or arabs or whatever) will really care if they find Pakistanis in similar conditions? After all, people from the region do kind of look similar.
This is criminal behaviour mixed with a tint of racism. Heady stuff...
