I think the government of Niger need to look more closely at laws and waiver fees, how long before an American pays 3,000,000 to hunt people in their country. Hey they're doing it in Iraq, ask the Kurds and Shiites driving brand new BMW's through the pock marked surface of a wasteland.

Congratulations on your restraint, Thap and Nadia (as you seem to approve of this sentiment residing in your thread) ! 19 posts before a subject having nothing to do with U.S., begins to be colored with an unrelated anti-U.S. post.

Arabs hunting antelope in Niger. A brilliant opportunity to comment on U.S./Iraq.
Positively pathological.

Storch, i think the over-riding argument in this thread is still regarding the practice of Arab princes going jetsetting for $300,000 to put a bullet through an animal's neck. That (as well as whether or not it is right to criticize them) has been the main point of discussion in this thread.

hey niger is getting some foriegn exchange that way. Unless their govt decides not to allow hunting and unless the world can pressure them especially for endangered species, what will stop the hunters, pure supply and demand going on.

Build a mosque, fund an environmental sustainability programme somewhere in eastern Africa, develop a scholarship fund for orphaned girls in Rawalpindi, donate the 3 grand to the Edhi Foundation.... the list is, literally, endless. What possibilities for sawaab.

Well i sorta disagree with you Nadia... why do we pakistanis/indians and all other muslims around the world seek arabs for help? they've done more than their share. We cant continue asking them for more help.

Yes, they are wealthy...but sit in their seat for a while. They were once poor too you know , very poor (before the oil) and noone helped them then. Now that they got oil, and money you expect them to help us?

Excuse me? What the hell was that

There have been MANY great things that came out of the Arab world, the Arab people and etc..........

So next time think before you speak ACHA!

Stupid replies will be deleted.

Let's see the contribution of arabs in the current environment. Establishment and promotion of religious fundamentalism. Promoting autocratic societies. Mistreatment of temp workers in the country. HSKhan is right.

And this is in line with Nadia's post. Do me a favor X-treme, instead of pontificating play fair....if you want to remove stupid posts, half of WA and Rel would be deleted.

Yaar, I expected better from you. You're a decent guy I know that. Bring up any of those subjects and I guarantee they won't get deleted by me. Fact is you are wrecking a perfectly good thread with your asinine anti-arab comments where they don't belong.

The comments were not anti-arab. Just to correct you. Take for example the one about Shakira. She is colombian not arab. Take the one about belly dancing, 60 Mins. reported last year that the hottest belly dancers in arabia (meaning where the arabs flock to the most) are Russians. So before you go on some asinine tangent. Let me clear up the confusion. rest of it was, i agree poppycock.

Fraudia man, if supply and demand were the only criteria we wouldn't disapprove of Indians and Pakistanis selling their kids to gulf Arabs to become conveniently lightweight race-jockeys. In fact kids from the 3rd world get sold for a lot worse things if truth be told. don't give me the supply and demand angle please :)

wohoo. now its getting exciting.
