Aqeeqah has to be with in the first 7 days of baby being born, after that it’s sadqa not aqeeqah.

we did my daughter’s aqeeqah on the 6th day.

We all know aqeeqah is done in the first week. This thread is not about the aqeeqah .. but the party, which can be thrown (or not thrown) when ever the couple wishes.
