With all due respect to Ehsan bhai, but I must agree to ASN at each and every word he said in this whole thread, I agree to him more than 100%... he said it all which we already know for a long time btw, but never discussed publicly, but to be honest this is a bitter reality, and one must admit it.

To add what ASN mentioned, I don't think AQ will ever be made a mod or allowed to read whats written at those restricted 'daro-o-deewar' arena!

Anyway, AQ is The reason for briniging many nice people at GS, and whenever he is around we see those hidden nice people posting in nicer manner, which everyone likes to read! ...

I have never selected a mod, nor suggested a mod, nor have I fired a mod, or suggested the firing of a mod. no exceptions. why would be there on in this case?

had i been director of GS I would have made him a mod. but I am not. and the director of GS has to figure out how he is going to do the daily running of GS and who to make part of his team.

Why can GS make AQ mod of "Machli Bazar" or sites like Alldost, and use him as total NOKAR, where he doesnt deserve those slots.

AQ was anything but a Naukar on AD, he knew about AD plans way before anyone else and I had personally picked him to lead the team. He knows it, and we understand each other well nuff that he would not have accepted, and I would not have asked him if he was going to be a naukar.

Thanks all for the replies.

Icon bhai.. I appreciate your thoughts about me... you are not the only one... Majority (not all) here share the same sentiments as you as you can see from many posts... and also from oldies like ATA... I am sure I can safely say that I have made good friends over last 8 years here and I have way many friends than Foes :~) who admire and respect me and the feelings are mutual... I have consistently prove that over and over again in Cafe and Poetry Forum ... There are only a very few who do not agree with me sometimes, some due to personal reasons, and some due to misunderstandings....

And, I have successfully proved wrong all thoes factions and notions about my "emotional" factor by managing allDost and administering the interim forum recently... I have Azkar's note in my inbox recognizing my efforts and that I am certainly capable of doing such stuff.... He can validate this as well if he wants.... so stop telling me or ehsan bhai if I need to be a mod... if I am capable of it, I will be made and if I am not, I won't be... I never begged about it in the past nor I will ever BEG about it... let ehsan bhai confirm about it too... Word to the wise :) ... For anything else, I think Fraudia's note shoule be worthy to read... those ex-mods who were thrown out from here who have posted should get a hike.... you were fired so you are not required to flame anything.. 'Nuff said!!!!!!

I am 110% sure this thread will lead to no further fruitful results anyway, besides Angel Eyes being picked up as a next mod by ehsan bhai :p

So, I guess this thread needs to meet its ultimate fate - Lock that is.

PS: As for my own feelings, it's a moot point (Fraudia:D) to discuss, I guess ... :-)

Dear friends, please let me give my two cents on this issue as well.

Compare to you guys I am a new comer, I admit. But since this issue (being a moderator) concerns us all, the normal users of GS, I would like to express my feelings about it as well. During my limited time on GS and my interactions with AQ, I found him as a character who is not necessarily one of those who would win many friends here. He might be a good person (I don't know as I have not met him in person), but from his posting behavior he gives an impression of a very emotional person, whose emotions very often overshadow his logical thinking.

Being a moderator is a thankless job, we have all seen this. And he as one will polarize the users greatly. For example if he removes one of my posts, even for the right reasons, I would think he has done it because of the fact that we don't see eye to eye.

Please don't take my straight talking wrong. I am normally a person who would otherwise prefer to stay out of his way, and I know some of you perhaps would not share my thoughts about his behavior, but as I said before, this issue concerns me as a normal user as well. Therefore, I thought to give my feedback as well.

*because there is dirty politics on GS, Ehsan bhai siraf naam kay director hai, despite all the respect he has for A.Q its all dikhawa, the real point is that some of the mods from the mod team do not want A.Q as a moderator, so Ehsan bhai just like the pakistani politics gta listen to other ppl to make them happy. Rather make some she-female mods happy and some lotas, instead of making A.Q a moderator which he truly deserves.

Ehsan bhai has never faught for his case, I believe some other senior hidden admins have also done nothing. With all due respect Fraudia, or Muzna or some more ppl could have had influence, but their final excuse wud be that they are not involved in these modding matters, its Ehsan job, but we all know the truth that its only because of the pressure by some certain mods A.Q is not a mod. Come on its just a gupshup forum? its not some fbi.gov or cnn dot com where we have roles like director, this and bla bla, its just a matter of fighting for the case and just getting ppl to agrre. BUT NO ONE DOES THAT.

Do not forget, saba the former director, who still has admin access, is also against A.Q…

So I think A.Q gotta live with it, but atleast we should have the right to express ourselves.

The mods are not picked up by their abilities, they are picked mostly by other gunda mods, lets say I was a mod, and I was flirting with a girl on GS, then I would do my best to make her a MOD, once she is MOD, then she will be in my gang too…so thats the kind of chain that is run, but like I said being a girl, and having bit of good english is a PLUS, thora sa minnat samaaj karo, flirtingkaro with senior mods and mod ban jayo.

You have a very narrow view of GS and admins. No one has a benefit of doubt. I don't know why you would recommend your friend to become a part of team?
