This is sensationalism at it’s worst, designed to flare tempers on both sides of the border and increase traffic to timesofindia.com. Let’s be clear, India got the bomb from the USSR in sometime around 1972. That’s an open secret. China got the bomb technology from the USSR. Pakistan got the bomb from China. Any similarities between Pakistan and India are purely due to their origin from the Russians.
Moreover, Khan was handled by the ISI and the Pakistani military. Not only did he not act alone, but there was almost no way he could. Everything he did was under the watchful eye of the ISI. Just the sheer mechanics of it would be a rather Herculean task.

article didn’t said AQ network provided the bomb, it says India also imported the technology from AQ khan network to experiment probably with different technology .. centrifuges?
