I am not going to challenge the hadith, but why would Allah create an imperfect human, that also a prophet. A 60 feet tall man cannot survive for long, for the same reasons a 60 feet tall dinosaurs did not survive. A person of that size would break his bones, if he simply trips over. He would be spending amazing amount of time in hunting, cooking and consuming food to cover just one meal.

Imperfect human? Almighty Allah created human in his best. Have you not read the story of the tribe A'ad and Samood? The pplz of that tribes was able to break the mountain by their hands.

I also believe that allah created human in his best, and that is why I am questioning the belief that Adam was 60 feet tall.

There is a hadith in Sahih Muslim where Almighty Allah said that He created Adam a.s. in His own image with His length of sixty cubits. My knowledge is limited till here.

60 feet dinosaurs survived for a very long time. they ruled the planet. : )

now a 60-foot bipedal human....not very plausible.

looking at this data and comparing that some rivayats say that Age of Hazrat Adam was 1000 years, it does not make sense that he could be a giant also.

It is Allah who knows what is perfect & Imperfect.. if HE created such a tall human back then.. He must have provided him the suffient meal too! Nothing is difficult or impossible for HIM.

Its not about meal. Its about the survival of the fittest theory. Would Allah create a prophet who is so prone to breaking his bones. I am assuming the value of g (gravity) was still the same back then. Assuming that his mass vs height ratio was also the same, his weight would be about 720 KG, and if he trips, then he would hit the ground with about 7000 Newtons force. That force is like me dropping a big horse on you from about 30 feet height. Again assuming that bone desity was same even back then, do you think that it would shatter some of his bones easily?

It appears there is very little information being considered by brother TLK here and he is relying on the published work on the ages too.

We need to prove what cannot be the case rather than look at what could be the case.
