I think a problem with this product is that it doesn't have a true niche.. it's somewhere between a smartphone/PDA and a laptop..
those extremely light and portable slate tablets , or convertible tablets, are the best of both worlds.. a true tablet which is also a fully functional laptop. it becomes your computer.
so will people shell out $500 for something that won't replace their PC or their phone?
not sure if this will really make it like the iPod and iPhone did... might end up like the Newton or Cube.. time will tell.
