Actually KB this pharase is not spoken in sense of real maar kutai . Its meaning is that its easy and good to tie the knot between the relatives as any incident or mishap in this relation,relatives avoid to go to that extent as non-relatives go like divorce,threats and other mean ways etc.

But as i already told, its not always true. My personal experience is about my cousin who married to his female cousin(my second cousin) , the MIL was girl's real Khala (aunty) , some ebbs and flows within he couple so that girl telephoned the whole family that MIL is trying to give her slow poison via food while MIL said she is doing black magic over his son :D

Such telephonic fights , blame game shows no one predicts about this relation of being withing family or out of family.

You are 110 % right. par kia karoon. apno ka aisa zakaham laga ke aik baat yaad aa gai. Hamain to apnoon nay lutta ghairoon main kahaan dam tha. meri kashti thi dubbi wahaan jahaan pani kam tha.
