Kahin Qareeb se yeh guftagu Qamar ne suni
Falak pe aam hoi akhter e sehar ne suni

**The Truth of Beauty (its a conversation between beauty and God) **
To the gracious God, Beauty said one day
Why didnt you grant me immortal form and shape?
so God replied, “The world is but a picture hall”
“It is a yarn spun from the stuff of eternal night”
As from changing colours it derives its shape and shine,
The truth of Beauty must submit to the process of decline
The moon who was standing by overheard this talk,
WHich spreading all over, reached the morning star.
The moon replied, it to the dews, over flower beds stretched
The tale of heaven thus became a popular tale on earth.
Getting the news from the dews, tearful grew the rose
From the tender hearter buds tears began to flow.
The spring left the garden with dripping tears oppressed
The youth come for a stroll, went away depressed.
