ive had several incidences with jinn, never speaking directly to them though. but they arent very happy to be around us.
when i used to live in saudi, jinn possessions were pretty common.

umm, ive had jinns walk through my house alot - they open the door, walk through the house and exit by back door. someone else here mentioned they heard/felt someone walking by. those ones are more harmless.
one time (when i was living alone) i was studying in my room and a jinn started scratching at my room door like something with sharp long finernails, and started rattling my door violently. the scratching followed every wall around where i was sitting. i whipped out the quran as fast as possible and studied that instead!
ive seen some in passing. i dont even know if its possible to see them. i dont know what to think of that really...
a friend of mine was driving in a car with a friend of his, and i was on the phone with him at the time, and the other dude in the car was apparently posessed, and the jinn started speaking, it was the most demonic thing i ever heard. dont have to mention how freaked out my friend was. i would have jumped out of the car!
i have tons of stories/collections from friends' encounters with them as well.

how come you are so sure that what ever happened to you was done by a Jinn - could be your illusion you know ...
During college days - I used to work in nights and do my 9-5 college in day time - getting less sleep and the work/study pressure had its impact and my life took a turn to the nightmarish , I started seeing things in nights - same as the mel gibson guy in that movie ' A beautiful mind ' ...
But later on - when after two three months - I quit working in nights and started getting proper sleep with food on time ... Things went back to normal ..
Most of the time it is our mind playing tricks - not some bloody Jin shin min
