i was 15 when my parents desided to move to pakistan, i suppose they wanted me my brothers & sis to become active muslims which we were not in england, lucky for them we have all turned into respectable muslims.
adjusting was not a problem for me cuz i was placed in the right place which in karachi would be clifton. moving to the right place in pakistan makes all the defference.
if u move to karachi the only place's u should live are clifton or defence.

i remember those little chocolate rolls u get in a bucket.........man they were lushus & there sandwiches, bakery stuff.

Do u mean the choclate bites fom Marks and spencers and cadbury ones too.. You must miss all the Junk food we have here in the UK. You miss the doner kebab and a nice cheese burger with tomato and ketchup....

Pakistani food is nice but we have got a few good Buffet restaurants in Manchester that provide good paki food...

But..let me tempt you, a nice kobeeda on a nan or a portion of chicken and chips with spicy wings do a perfect job...

We will get thrashed by Junk food in summer specially when melas are taking place..

i remeber the corner chip shop where my friend pablo from greece would set me up with the tastiest dona kabab on this planet......o ye cant for get the fish & chips, stake & kidney pie......aaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww.....man thats to much to handle:)

Pakistani food is the best the speciallity, of the UK asian catering is that it has given it a new added colour by adding new dishes to it or by renaming some of the recipes.

I had a classic portion of FishNchips yesterday when i had to go and see a close friend in Yorkshire.. It was by an apni chippy but it was spot on.. a chilled can of rubicon washed it down..

Im home guys woo hooo...did a whole loada shoppin...and yea went to Marksie's and stocked up on sweet goodies....I love marks and spencer munchies.....
