Re: Any of you parents in Pakistan speak only in English with your kids?
Living in Pakistan my mom always spoke to me in Urdu. The only time she used English with me was when she was reading a book to me that was written in Englsih. Still my English isn't too bad, but then I've been studying it since I was 3. My Urdu is better than that most Pakistanis, but it's because I went to school unlike a lot of Pakistanis and it's is my first language which isn't true for at least 70%(reigonal languages) of the Pakistanis.
Never lived with my dad but we spoke on the phone(still do) and we never talked in English. But we use English when emailing or texting each other.
