E-N-J-O-Y! That's really what you have to do, I kow you must be stressed but have in my mind, that you marry once in your life (well it's supposed to b once :))
I really enjoy my wedding, I was smiling and was happy to be the "queen" of the day (3 days)
My sis was so stressed that she didnt even smiled at her wedding and now when she looks at her wedding pic and wedding movie, she regrets so much!
So just enjoy the moment, it's unique!!
Yep, i agree with everyone! Keep smiling and ENJOY beacuse it goes so fast!!
Every half hour or so just scan the room; peoples face, the decor, your family, the colours; these are the points in your evening that will stick in your mind and remember, because if you don't the day truley just goes by in such a blur!
Re: Any advice from married girls for wedding day?
get some rest the night before! it will be hard but you must be well-rested cos its going to be a really long day.
pack a bag of everything you need to take with you to the salon in the morning (jewellery, makeup if you're taking some for retouching, clothes, shoes, proper underwear, perfume, etc.), and a bag for that night (pj's/nightie, makeup remover, moisturiser, hairbrush, etc.).
on the actual day, definitely smile! have a good time. remember its YOUR big day, everyone is there to celebrate WITH you and your hubby, so enjoy yourself. theres no harm in looking up every now and again, smiling and talking to your husband and your family and your friends. enjoy being the beautiful bride and remember, good posture! don't sit slumped over, sit up straight and relax.
good luck, hon! it'll be an awesome time iA :)

Re: Any advice from married girls for wedding day?
-enjoy your photoshoot
-pack lipgloss (to freshen your lipstick if someone else applied it)
-refrain from wearing your heels until u have to
-allow your in-laws to get food before it's even announced
-change your voicemail on your cell phone/fwd your phone to someone else 1 week before the wedding (trust me, u don't have to talk to anyone that week, well-wishers can wait to hear from you until after your honeymoon!)
-forget floral lays...they are officially out!
Thanks girls!! I'm soo stressed right now but it's nice to hear your well wishes :) What do you mean by floral lays Bharysh? I like the idea of letting your in laws eat before it's announced and packing a bag of my essentials for the salon--thanks for the advice!...If anyone has any faux pas or experiences they want to share I'd love to hear them!

congrats :)
i don't think anyone can give you a yes/no answer to your question.
you are the best judge on conservative your/his family are.
if not, it is something you have to ask your parents and his parents.
all families are completely different. some would not expect this kind of familiarity between the bride and groom in public at all. others would think it not acceptable on the nikkah day but acceptable on the valima. or your parents may be okay with it but not want you to do it because you have a lot conservative guests and they don't want anyone passing comments on it. or they might not care what other people say/think as long as you are happy!
just check with your and his family. even though it's your day you have to take their views into consideration.

Congrats!! Nothing wrong with holding hands :) Plus your photos will look much cuter than those couples who are sitting 2 feet apart from each other!
