Another US blunder in Iraq

Pentagon officials say the army’s first 700-man battalion lost 300 troops who were within weeks of being deployed.

But while Pentagon officials say they will be looking into what is behind these departures and trying to address the problem, they are also playing down its significance.

Chota - Lucky I’m here to play it up!

This is pure incompetence and a refusal to see the big picture in Iraq, the invasion and occupation will not be tolerated no matter how many chocolate sprinkles and plastic presidents carrying plastic turkeys are flown in.

With soldiers dropping like flies, the resistance getting ever more organised and effective and US morale dropping faster than Bush’s ratings things don’t look to rosey.

But then why should they, fools led by the ultimate fool tend to look foolish pretty quick.

The problems with having an all volunteer military force, tisk tisk.

This thread was about the Iraqi supermen, chicken farmers paid off to carry a big gun for his majesty the King, monkey king that is. And not about the trailer park trash who are forced into the US army so they can get 3 meals a day....even if one them is a bit of plastic turkey.

did they look under the couch cushions?

Well this was expected, after all the American soldiers who have been deserting as well. At least they stuck out a little longer than those poor yanks. :)

Well Malik the US soldiers just set such a bad example I suppose, what next Iraqi soldiers with with tatoos of some girl called 'laverne' on their buttocks and crying themselves to sleep after each mortar round hits?

Wonder if their were upset with the American soldiers marrying their sisters.

And converting to Islam, I think not. It was more to do with the fact that giving a chicken farner a gun and expecting him to do anything other than farm chickens is only a plane the monkey king would come up with.

But then again these chicken farmers are also filling US body bags from the other side....wonder what the majic ingredient is that's missing in the US recipe?

Brave Iraqis. Couldn't cut it.

Maybe they are used to orders that include killing their brothers, torturing innocents, raping women and gassing Kurds. They just can't handle being in a legitmate security force that actually protects the Iraqis instead of oppressing them. As great as America is, they don't have the power of changing cultures of fear and violence overnight.

OG,

Cutting US soldiers throats pretty well though innit ;-)

Yup protecting by killing for money :D you got it bud.

As great as America is they can sure shock an awe an innocent populace in the dead of night! And then expect to pay them to turn against each other.

They are ensuring a steady supply of body bags back to uncle sams cemeteries.

,

As much fun as you can have without your limbs I suppose.

.

However many body bags are shipped back to the US, I promise you it will pale in comparison to the number of mass graves that previous Iraqi security forces are responsbile for.

UTD,

It comes with the job of invading with an army of trailer park trash. When they read "Stop Mine Field" they think so what if it's your field I'll walk in it if I want.

hmmm this thread has turned ppl into a bunch of 12 year olds...

well the Mods here are doing a bang up job aren't they.
