yes..i wonder!!!...one similar case happened in Toronto to0o , in 1998..This pakistani father snatched his daughter away from his wife after divorcing her..( I USED TO THE WORD SNATCHED BECAUSE AT THAT TIME, THE KID WAS ONLY A FEW MONTHS OLD AND IT IS REPORTED THAT THE PANCHAYAIT GAVE THE VERDICT IN HIS FAVOR EVEN THOUGH HIS EX-WIFE PLEADED THAT THE INFANT WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO LIVE WITHOUT HER MOTHER)...and flew over to canada after marrying another pakistani woman who was older than the man...when the kid started her pre-scko0l, her teacher noticed the kid isn't provided proper clothes for winter and then some woman donated some winter jackets and pants to the teacher for that kid...one day, kid's dad called in for a few days' vacations but the kid didn't show up on the scheduled date and after a couple days, the teacher called dad to inquire about the kid and he made some excuse...teacher suspected the man and called police..police investgated and it was learned later that the man had dropped the kid to the flo0r in rage because she was asking something...the 3-4 year old kid died and then the man to0k the body to the bathro0m, dismembered the body, put the pieces in a garbage bag and then threw the bag out in a park or somewhere i believe...but the man kept changing stories throughout the trial period and his 2nd wife pleaded guilty saying that she wasn't part of it sisnce she didn;'t "DO" anything..and the court imprisoned her as well for the same reason, that is, **"FOR NOT DOING ANYTHING" **while this brutal and horrifying crime was taking place..the least she could do was calllin the police .. really, i wonder how much low can a human being sto0p?...

One story just happened in Montreal (maybe rumor)... parents burnt their son (old teen) alive in the morning because he became Muslim. (Christian family)..
Maybe just a stupid rumor, but shocking..

Atleast confirm the story than draw conclusions. I'm not saying that the story is a rumour (because I don't know if it is or it isn't) but you aren't even sure yet saying how shocking it is.

To the person who siad he hates desis...your an idiot if you think this doesnt happen in every community...did you not hear about the guy that through his kid off a balcony and jumped off with his two year old daughter nearly killing her aswell...There are idiots in every culture...
And as for the story...i heard that he was from a wealthy family so that explains his beamer...his wife was supposedly cheating on her and chnaged when she came to england blah blah...she had a non muslim friends and stopped wearing salwar kameeze so he killed her...doesnt explain the kids though...
His beamer was found abandoned near heathrow so they think hes back in pakistan...

A few things to note about this case:
The guy was a taxi driver yet he drove a BMW5 series and lived in a posh house in a upper middle class area. Does that sound a bit fishy.
Could this be a drug related murder? I dont know time will tell. One rumour doing the rounds is that he might have been involved in drugs and the mafia killed his family, kidnapped him killed him dumped his body and parked his car at heathrow to make it look like as if he had killed his family and escaped to Pakistan or some other country.
Lets not judge the case till the facts are known.

I 100% agree with what Ehsan has posted. There is no need to blow up this story out of proportion and present it here with *mirch masala *before further facts come out to light. And this item does not merit any mention in the GS forum just because the subject is a Pakistani. Thousands of such cases that are reported relate to the British, French, Dutches and Germans and others all over Europe every month.
