Re: Another “Pakistan Day”: How far are we from achieving the real dream of Iqbal??
Original OP post states non-military democratically elected governments. Until Pakistanis take their heads out of the sand and realize that PML and PPP are nothing more than two parties run by feudal families and right to lead these parties has fallen exclusively to family members making them dynasties rather than democratic parties, this country won’t go anywhere.
MQM similarly is not a Democratic Party. Altaf has been in charge for a long time and no one else is allowed to come into charge. People need to realize he is on Indian payroll.
They need to understand the Sharifs of PML are huge investors in Europe, Arab countries and India rather than their own. Pakistani money hard at work in making other countries successful. We are such a generous people.
PPP is now a dynasty. Bilaawal is up next to be leader. Was he elected? Dare anyone oppose this? No one else qualified to be a leader in PPP?
When these clearly deficient “democratic” instructions fail, army has to come in and clean up the mess. Say what you want about corruption. The army’s fiasco in PIA and other big industries is no secret. But they’re the only ones with training and organization to clean up the domestic problems created by these other parties.
So sorry, I disagree with that part of the post. The country is only going backwards by supporting these people in power.
