I'm not Marathi either and like you I understand bits and since these songs have a little hindi in them too it's even easier to understand them. Do you know when they migrated to your town? Anyway, I was just wondering since I did remember that you were telegu and I never imagined you would post Marathi songs( as nice as they are).

may be some 5 or 6 generations before, my town is famous for dyeing, all of them are into that business
