Till the time its proven to be a hate crime, its not a hate crime. That's how the legal system in the US works. Where do you live again ?

Which article as the Washington Post doesn't say that. The Police specifically do not state that. So what is the source?
I forgot now which article exactly. The guy's family was there too while he was taking pictures and enjoying the snow. I don't think even they said that he was targeted.
