Absolutely. Canada has no business in Afghanistan fighting America’s war. I’m totally ashamed at our government. Our money is better spent elsewhere, not on a military that pretends to be a military.

The insurgent fighting the American soldier is not a terrorist like those who fought the americans in fallujah.
But, those insurgents who kill Shias, or have brutally murdered thousands of iraqis are cold blooded murder terrorists.

I have friends..fraternity brothers seving in Iraq, and they are fine upstanding and outstanding individuals. Just because you do not agree with the foriegn policy of US or some of the idiotic stuff like abu gharaib, that does not make soldiers serving in Iraq terrorists

Many of you here will be happy to know I am attending a funeral of a National Guardsman tomorrow. He was a 26 y/o man with a wife and 2 children. He was not a terrorist, but a kind and gentle man that joined the Guard for stability and job opportunities that didn’t exist in his small town. He was a mechanic while serving there and was very sympathetic to the average Iraqi and their plight. But he didn’t want to be there.
He saw several of his friends blown up, maimed and killed and was having a very hard time dealing with it when he got back. Earlier this week he couldn’t deal with those demons anymore and he blew his head off with a 357.
There will be many mourners there, probably many of them believing that Muslims world wide thought he was a terrorist and prayed for and would cheer his death. I will never tell them how close they are to the truth. Thank God they don’t post here.

^Thats the affect of wars on human beings psyche, if only people would stop trying to act patriotic and stop these unnecessary wars from happening, main reason people say they support these wars is because they live in their own little world, and have no clue what war really is, they are protected by the media, who show no real images of death and destruction, therefore not getting into the minds of the normal person. Seminole don't try to get Muslims to feel bad, some people would rather have 1000 Iraqis die rather than 1 American, most people think of insurgents as terrorists and cheer their deaths, and some could care less if innocent people are dying around the world. I've already seen you support everything America and Israel does, but you fail to realize that their are Christains who are fighting with their Muslims brothers for their freedom, but you are blind to see that. There are people who cheer for someones death, than they are definately wrong, but I'd much rather prefer soldiers which ever side they may be on to die than innocent civilians if at all neccessary.
I think we can all agree people in U.S. who are responsible for these wars are the TERRORISTS.

Seminole, your sob story won’t affect anyone, except the ignorant, who mostly live in the US cheering the death of innocents in Iraq. Yeah, he’s seen many of his friends killed, and according to many American citizens, that is a justification for rape and murder in Iraq.
What about the innocents in Iraq? Will any mourners even think about them, or will they simply think that they are “bloodthirsty terrorrists responsible for 9/11”. “We’ll get those sand niggers”!
