But you can't blame them if they laugh seeing an infant confront them :p
^Avoid them. If that's not possible, maintain a distance. If you have to be around the individual more often than you'd like, then try your best to avoid those topics which you KNOW that the person is sensitive about. When in the same room with the person....keep yourself occupied with some activity.
When the person goes off on their crazy rant.....don't fuel it by hurling insults. Simply walk away from them or don't respond at all. You might even let the person know directly before hand that you will not answer to rude outbursts and that you prefer to deal with mature and civil communication. Walk away. It sends the message you won't put up with it.
