i wont be leaving the doe in with him all the time just the time when i need her to go in and then she will live in her own hutch as expecting doe's need space and stress free environment, he's a proven buck and ive put him up as stud and ive got a few people asking to have him as the daddy for their future litters!

No. Not everyone is from UK. You have got something going on there don't you. You really do know what you are doing.
yes ive done my research have many friends around the u.k and their breeders and genuine people, i take good care of him and want to and WILL do the same with his future family, he has a rabbit run to that my dad built cant seem to get it up on here it wont let me :@
so your not from the u.k then?
what was it like raising the young?
av just added you as a friend hope thats okay? the picture you have of your rabbit, its just like the one in my avatar, the breed of yur rabbit is dutch, a dutch rabbit. did you know this? x
Raising the young was tough in simple words. The worst part was I was not prepared & didn't know how to take care of them.
You have to feed them every 2 hours in the first few weeks. Even teaching them how to drink was hard. Keep them warm at all times. In my case Kaka was not so used to the whole baby business & as protective as she was towards them there were times when she accidentally stumbled upon her own babies. She was not also able to feed them either. My mom was like a 12 hour caretaker for the babies & the rest of the time I divided with my sisters.
One month is all it took & the end result was too cute. We had rabbits hopping around everywhere.
thanks for the advice i bought a book especially for looking after him, wanted to do it all properly and legitly, didnt want to be a typical pakii lol :D
if you have to hand rear them only suppose to feed once day as the mother would feed once, within the first 24 hours of their life they survie withought milk all they need is wamr but after yjey need milk!
mashallah you did well you brought up 8 healthy babies must be proud :D
Yes, mine definitely like to talk, but they have softer voices than normal Siamese. They are actually only half Siamese, so their voices are not as shrill, but their looks are pure Siamese. But they still like to have a full conversation---when I get home from work they will follow me around and answer me as I talk to them. :)
The boy is a blue point, and the girl is a chocolate point. Their names are Basha and Booma. Basha's pic is on my profile page. :)

Oh yeah. The only bad part was my mom wasn't too proud of me :D We already had a hamster, turtles, the other rabbit Cheeku & then all babies. It was fun though. We ended giving all of the rabbits away at the end.
Its nice that you are doing proper research before breeding. If I would have known what was up I would have have probably had 10 healthy babies if not 13.
Hand rearing babies need to be fed more than once. Reason being formula milk is not as full of nutrients as a mother rabbit's milk might be. So need to be fed more frequently. Also what I noticed was that in their first week they were not able to drink much in one go. So I decided upon alternative hours. Just to warn you feeding time is always a messy time.
i've two budgies, Blue and Lemon. The boy is 1 year old while the girl actually is a granny at age 13...the normal life expectancy of Budgies in the wild is 8 years. she has lived way past the average age. :)
