Re: An interview with God.
friend came in wasted once. he claimed to have had a conversation with god. As for me, i would ask why all the suffering?? Allah's love is supposed to be 70 times that of a mothers.

Yes most of us will be dumb founded if and when we will see Allah(SWT).
Re: An interview with God.
Peace Mirch bro
Yes most of us will be dumb founded if and when we will see Allah(SWT).
We'll be unable to think of asking any questions ... we will caught between fear, awe, beauty struck, intense love, and a dire urge to prostrate ...
It will force upon our lips the words "SubhanaRabbiYal 'Ala"
That is why "Allah (SWT) has not given us proof of seeing Him" in this life - because then there will be no need to believe - our limbs will be drawn like magnets to worship Him ... Thus those who resist worship in this life will be shackled with rods on the backs and while others will be in prostration in a state of submission the who resisted will be wrenched by the pull of their urge to fall prostrate but will be unable to do so due to the shackles ...
Asking the question what we will ask Allah (SWT) in an interview is an artificial view of God.

Re: An interview with God.
This is a very interesting topic :k:.
There are alot of things that i probably find a bit hard to follow/obey but fortunately atleast i do understand and see the logic behind most of what is expected of us to do and follow. However, there is question that i always ask and put forward whenever i am having religious discussion with anyone and that question is;
Like say if somebody is born into a hindu family, how will he/she be judged for it at the day of judgement? I feel they would be judged on how they are as a person and yes, be penalised only if they were exposed to what we believe is the truth = “Islam” and even then refuse to make the switch. However nowadays there are no messengers of Allah as such who would have such an effect/appeal. So that makes me think! It is kinda complicated
.
Re: An interview with God.
I created a poem for this
Me: God what do you want?
God: what do You want?
Me: I want what You want
God: I want what You want
Iqbal was there listening to us
He exclaimed
Khudi ko kar buland itna ke har taqdeer se pehle
Khuda bande se khud puche bata teri raza kiya hai?

This interview is a fantasy , if we can fantasize about everything else why not fantasize about Allah(SWT) , I hope it is not forbidden. As per understanding Allh(SWT) encourages us to think about Allah(SWT) during every waking moment of our life.
Re: An interview with God.
'waiting to punish us' - first of all he is not waiting and second he does not want to punish us
and then you kill you murder and dont expect any punishment?
you got my point
i am not interested in verbal ping pong

Yup, it's a fantasy I think we all think about at some point. Sometimes when we're feeling really low and we just want an answer and sometimes when we can't be thankful enough for what we have.
Re: An interview with God.
where did you come from?
Re: An interview with God.
But somehow no matter how low am feeling and I want answers or I wish I could make conversation with Allah SWT, namaz or nafl make me feel alot better. There is this feeling of contentment that my plea has reached the Heavens and that Allah has heard each and every word and would make things easier. :)
It's an incredible feeling which I do get occasionally. I guess it all depends on how sincerely the prayer made is

Re: An interview with God.
Wouldn’t know what “else” to ask.
This thread reminds me of the 90s song:
Re: An interview with God.
i just want to know if he has a sense of humor
is he a force
what is meant by being
and yes, where did "he" come from.
Re: An interview with God.
I consider Allah my best friend. I know i will be forgiven, i have belief.
If i ever meet him, i will not ask a question because he already know what will come out from these lips .. even before lips, my vocal folds... even before that.. my intelligence.. and before dna. .its him because i am part of him.
Ana-al-Haq, I am the truth !
Re: An interview with God.
question? If i saw god I would be so out of my senses I presume that i wouldnt even be able to think of anything let alone a question
i presume I'd be awe-struck, shivering, and I would probably fall into a sajda ...and praise Him, thank Him, and ask for forgiveness
