It’s possible to know what’s going on without following them. I kid you not, I’ve never seen the kardashian show, yet I know pretty much wahtever’s going on… (not sure if true or not) JUST by observing the headlines in magazines while waiting at the grocery store.

the only papers that usually cover amir khan are the sun and daily mail.. if you can even call those papers, i personally have hardly heard of these two in the papers so i guess it depends on what you read. also, she thrusted herself into the spotlight, nobody asks to be anybody’s role model but when you’re there in the public eye.. allowing every little detail of your life to be scrutinised then yes, some girls will view her as a role model, whether she/anyone likes it or not.

I read the broadsheets as well as the tabloids + magazines (tho not regularly).. Like it or not they form the biggest and most popular chunk of UK print media so to look down on them is a bit foolish (and arrogant)..

Don’t know about the Daily Mail, but the Sun is even looked down on abroad.
Being big and popular doesnt automatically mean quality. McDonalds is also huge and insanely popular all over the world.
