I dont know what you mean. Anyone who knows anything about boxing knows they really were world titles (WBC, WBO, IBF, IBO).

The IBO title is the only one thats not part of the big four and the only reason he didnt hold the WBA title was because the fighter who was holding that belt, prior to being beat by Naz, was stripped of it by the WBA because they didnt want it unified with the WBO belt. If they didnt do that he would have been the first fighter to hold all four major titles in his division.

Say want you want about him being overhyped, cheesy etc. but you cant knock his achievments. Unlike Amir Khan whos accomplished nothing in the pro game, Naz actually delivered the goods, and at the same age was already a word champ.

Re: Amir Khan - knocked out in 1st round

yeah maybe I am discounting his talent based on his lack of character, he was just so lame with his antics. I also can not really forget how arrogant he as about barrera and got beaten, although i congtinue to say abrrera fought dirty especially with the turnbuckle incident.

Naz had a god given talent, but he did not have the character to harness it fully being all occupied with the legend he had become in his own mind, so he had talent and results to back that up with, in amir's case it looks like the eaw talent is not there but he is picking pages from naz's playbook on image and attitude..and u know what such an attitude with nohting to back it does?

wait and see.

Totally agree with you on that, and its been my main gripe about Khan. Hes not been helped by everyone around him hyping him up as the next Ali. And i cant believe Sky Sports had the audacity to put him on PPV before he'd acheived anything.

If reports of him moving to America and training with Freddy Roach are true then this is an ideal oppurtunity for him to get back to learning the basics and isolating himself from bad influences. I still believe that if he can work hard on his defence and become a counter puncher who relies on his speed to get in and out then maybe he can win a world title. But he's going to have to prove himself on the British scene first.
