It is about oppression, abuse and misogyny and about treating women like dogs, it is my understanding that Amir has cheated on her on a regular basis, he drinks everyday and then Faryal is the one getting slammed by parents on wearing un islamic clothes. Is it only about hypocrisy. All I hear about her is her choice of clothing but this is her right as a human to wear whatever she likes. Why did the parents not condemn the brothers for adultery and for being alcoholics. The courts, judges and the police will make them squeal. I hope she gets an amazing lawyer who will rip them apart.
