Those who think Americans speak English in one specific accent obviously don't know much about America. And about which accent is better than the rest...ummm, I don't know...I don't think I will ever know but I know one thing, I will always like my own accent better than the rest because it's more familiar... hence more understandable! :)

you are sadly mistaken my dear brother!! American accent flows softly on your tongue hence it is more gentle and it has a nice eefect on your ears. English accent, on the other hand, is not gentle but it is more genteel and elegant but still it does not sound friendly to the ear!

u r right CA! its like the mid western accent, and the southern accent and the my accent (i m in CA), and then the newyorker accent.

there are lots of em. I havent heard a southern accent on GS yet. I doubt anyone has it.
